Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to complete required training and maintain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and comply with all motor vehicle and traffic laws.
• Follow driver routes as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
• Perform a daily safety check on the vehicle before leaving the point of origin.
• Record daily and hand in any necessary paperwork on the buses.
• Pick-up and deliver intra-agency mail where necessary.
• Record daily attendance of all passengers.
• Supply the Transportation Manager with information necessary for Article 19-A.
• Notify the appropriate case manager or Transportation Manager of any incidents or accidents that may occur during the time that you are responsible for your passengers.
• Conduct self in such a way as to favorably represent Arc GLOW.
• Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities as required.
• Complete all required training in accordance with the Agency policy, and maintain all required certifications and/or professional license requirements.
