By joining our Structures Unit as a Transportation Engineering Assistant I in Hopkins County, you'll have the opportunity to perform beginning level technical tasks in support of transportation engineering programs such as bridge inspections. Complete paperwork, perform low level inspections, and perform other duties as assigned. Summary of Responsibilities: Assisting Bridge inspection Note and picture taking Cross section stream data entry Using basic tools to locate and measure bridge defects Ideal candidate will have experience in: Organization Microsoft office suite and, or, web based softwares Basic hand tools Communication skills Benefits and Perks: Comprehensive health with optional dental and vision insurance Retirement savings Professional Development opportunities and ongoing training.
