This position involves working with a team of engineers and support staff to plan, design, and deliver transportation projects from concept through construction. Depending on experience, this role may lead projects as a Project Manager or support projects as a key member of the design team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with transportation, municipal, or roadway design projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients
- A desire to grow professionally and contribute to meaningful projects
Responsibilities
- Work on transportation projects, including roadway design, reconstruction, and improvements for local and state clients
- Prepare design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project development
- Assist with project planning, design development, and permitting
- Provide support during construction through coordination and construction administration
