About The Position

Wilson & Company is seeking a Transportation Engineer in Training (EIT) with hands on design and modeling experience to join our team in Denver, CO. This position will perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/Inroads & OpenRoads Designer. They will work in conjunction with the Project Managers, Peer Engineers and CADD Team Members to coordinate the roadway design with other project disciplines to meet project deadlines for various projects throughout Colorado and other regions as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineering Intern Certification.
  • 0-3 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.
  • Experience with federal, state and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects preferred.
  • Experience with CADD using Microstation or Autocad highly preferred
  • Roadway Designer software experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
  • Contact and visit clients for business development / marketing; including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.
  • Proven teamwork and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships.
  • Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
