Transportation Engineer IV Performs advanced and complex transportation engineering work in one or more functional areas such as design, construction management, and/or operations and maintenance management of design-build and comprehensive development agreement projects. Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Work requires contact with District and Division personnel, governmental officials and private entities. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product. Join TxDOT's Alternative Delivery Division as a Transportation Engineer helping oversee the alternative delivery (design-build) program's projects in the design, construction, and maintenance phases. This position is based out of TxDOT's Stassney Campus in Austin and performs advanced and complex transportation engineering work in one or more functional areas to include design, construction, materials, and/or maintenance for the Alternative Delivery Division's design-build program as part of the Implementation and Maintenance Section.
