Responsibilities

• Perform geometric reviews for complex roadway projects, including interchanges, intersections, and freeways.
• Evaluate design exception submittals and assist submitters through the formal approval process.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Multimodal Design Guide , ensuring standards remain current.
• Participate in value engineering workshops and collaborate on the development of workshop materials.
• Assist with the ongoing updates of the Location and Design Manual, Volume 1 , and other roadway standards.
• Review and approve consultant prequalification submissions for Non-Complex and Complex Roadway Design.
