About The Position
The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) invites its experienced agency employees to apply for our Transportation Engineer 3 (Construction Engineering) positions within the Bureau of Engineering and Construction in District 1, located in Rocky Hill, CT. The individuals in Transportation Engineer 3 (Construction Engineering) roles are assigned in the field to assist and carry out direction from the DOT's Supervising Engineers and Managers in accordance with federal and state statutes, policies, and regulations. They supervise field staff who ensure that the construction work is performed in compliance with the contract plans and specifications.
