About The Position

St. Camillus is seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Driver to provide safe transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, shopping trips, events, and other approved outings. This role is essential in supporting resident independence, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of passenger driving experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a driving record meeting the St. Camillus Safe Driving Policy.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement preferred but not required (willingness to obtain is a plus).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to assist with other Environmental Services duties when needed.
• Ability to safely perform all job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, campus activities, and scheduled outings.
• Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
• Complete transportation-related tasks for external suppliers and vendors as assigned.
• Maintain safe operation of campus vehicles, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections, documenting findings accurately.
• Clean and sanitize vehicles regularly, including windows, lights, and interior surfaces.
• Remain accessible while driving and respond to calls or messages within 15 minutes.
• Stay on duty until all scheduled residents have returned safely to campus.
• Communicate critical information promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor, Director, Coordinator, and fellow drivers.
• Uphold St. Camillus policies, Customer Service Expectations, and Resident Bill of Rights.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
