Arcadis is seeking a Transportation Design Engineering Intern to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Transportation, Civil or related engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of roadway design plans, engineering reports, studies and analyses in a wide range of areas - (e.g. traffic operations, safety, hydraulic modeling and traffic modeling projects).
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual designs and construction plans utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D and Microstation and - Open Roads/Geopak software.
- Engineering design including geometric design of highways and streets, rail design, drainage design (hydrology and - hydraulics) and completion of construction engineering and inspection tasks.
- Assist with transportation planning reports, roadway safety studies and general traffic engineering projects.
- Collection of field data.
- Assist with conducting and documenting traffic studies using nationally accepted modeling practice, traffic operational analysis using microscopic simulation software such as TransModeler, Synchro, SimTraffic.
- Use of various software platforms including Microstation, OpenRoads/Geopak, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and HEC-RAS - and Synchro.

- The salary range for this position is $20.64 - $30.97 / hour.
- Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
