About The Position

KeHE is a natural, organic, specialty and fresh food distributor that emphasizes a people-first culture. The company is currently seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join their team. This role involves preparing all outbound dispatching for deliveries to customers and requires close collaboration with drivers, supervisors, and the Transportation Manager. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous clerical experience and knowledge of operations and transportation functions preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Strong data-entry skills with high accuracy preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Verify customer invoices
  • Assemble outbound paperwork and print invoices
  • Record and collate COD information on bills of lading, drivers manifest, logs, pick up paperwork and inspection sheets
  • Ensure documents are completed and approved properly
  • Make carrier and vendor appointments as needed
  • Provide clerical assistance as needed
  • Maintain weekly and monthly transportation reports
  • Assist sales with tracing orders and re-routing orders if needed
  • Complete and audit driver's daily activity reports
  • Sort, file, fax, copy and/or distribute paperwork
  • Maintain good attendance
  • Maintain safe work practices
  • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
