ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Resident Engineer through coordination and communication with various project stakeholders to ensure project and client success Composure and diplomatic problem solving Analyze applicable codes, standards, and specifications for compliance Perform general field inspection of Road and Bridge Construction Measure, calculate, and report installed quantities Monitor materials sampling and testing schedules Monitor and analyze progress of contractor’s work Maintain various reports and project control documents Perform onsite surveys of existing site conditions and documenting field measurements and observations. Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of internal clients. Participate in cross-discipline career development. Engage in continuous learning opportunities, attend industry events, and participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Proactively accepts tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success, team collaboration, and firm excellence. Field work is required, which could include nights and weekends. Various additional project tasks as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Construction, Engineering or Architecture
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bluebeam, and/or CAD fluency preferred
  • A sense of humor
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
