About The Position

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a small business office setting.
• Experience in small collaborative teams and general administration.
• Strong computer skills and detail-oriented work experience.
• Ability to reach, stand, walk, and occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is a plus, though not necessary.
• Experience in trucking industry or freight brokerage/customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance tasks such as registering commercial vehicles including IRP/Apportioned/Prorated Plates.
• Apply for Motor Carrier Authority (FMCSA, USDOT, and MC and DOT Numbers) and file government updates on behalf of clients.
• Open and fill Fuel & Mileage Tax accounts (IFTA).
• Handle vehicle titling processes.
• Communicate with customers regarding compliance and administrative tasks.
• Assist with small administrative projects.
