About The Position
We are seeking a Transportation Driver to join our team. The Transportation Driver will be responsible for transporting individuals, including the elderly and people with developmental disabilities, to and from designated locations.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Texas Driver's License with a responsible driving record
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- Understanding of critical care situations
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- CPR Certified
- This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fueled
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of trips and passenger details
- Other duties as assigned.
