About The Position

The Summer Camp Transportation Chaperone supports the safe, organized, and enjoyable transportation of campers to and from summer camp at IMG Academy. This position requires weekend (Saturday & Sunday) availability.

Requirements

• Friendly, responsible, and safety focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Ability to flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children is highly preferred (e.g., camp, school, childcare).
• Valid driver s license and clean driving record may be required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with camper check-in/check-out on IMG Academy campus and at local airports
• Serve as a friendly, welcoming presence for campers and families at designated pick-up and drop-off points
• Communicate with bus drivers, parents, and IMG Academy staff regarding transportation logistics or camper needs
• Assist campers in locating their assigned buses and ensure any special accommodations (e.g., accessibility needs, medical requirements) are addressed appropriately
• Help enforce IMG Academy rules and maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere among campers
• Other duties as assigned by management
