Our Transportation practice includes civil engineering, bridge & structural engineering, Resident Engineering and Inspection, Bridge Inspection, and geotechnical engineering. We specialize in analysis, design, evaluation, monitoring, and rehabilitation for a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects. We offer a wide range of expertise to support client needs for both new and existing transportation infrastructure. As a CADD Drafter in the Portland, Maine office and a core member of our Transportation Practice, you will be involved in all phases of bridge design and construction support drawings development. You will work with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers while also working with other CADD personnel. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and career progression.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting for engineering firms.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical plans and drawings.
  • Work with engineers to create sections and details of architectural, civil, and structural designs.
  • Review and evaluate work for technical accuracy.
  • Follow corporate quality control standards within the discipline.
