By joining our Equipment Garage Unit as a Transportation Auto/Truck Technician I in Fayette County, you’ll have the opportunity to assist in the repair and maintenance of all medium and heavy equipment in District Seven. Summary of Responsibilities: Repairing equipment such as trucks, tractors, loaders, and other equipment. Performing services on all medium/heavy equipment. Learning to safely and properly use and maintain state owned tools and equipment. Learn from senior techs on complex repairs. Ideal candidate will have experience in: Familiarity with various types of construction equipment. Maintenance of trucks or construction equipment. Performing services on equipment.
