Position Summary Using LMHS courtesy vehicle, provides patient, visitor and employee transport between parking areas and main entrances; provides physical assistance as needed to enter/exit courtesy vehicle; provides patients and visitors with directional information and general information regarding the hospital and health systems. May assist with picking up/delivering interdepartmental mail and small to intermediate size packages between health systems buildings. Tracks and reports on fuel consumption, maintenance issues, passenger counts etc. May perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Must have valid Ohio driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the hospital's liability insurance carrier.
  • LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the parking lot to pick up and drop off individuals on campus
  • Maintain vehicle checks; record all runs for benchmarks
  • General vehicle cleaning
  • Complete WebEd courses and other required education
  • Provide shuttle service for events as requested
