About The Position

As the Transportation and Parking Supervisor at Anakeesta, you’ll lead the team responsible for guests’ first and last impressions—our transportation drivers and guides. You’ll oversee the safe and efficient movement of guests and employees to and from the park while creating a welcoming, informed, and memorable experience. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a CDL, a passion for safety, and a commitment to excellence in guest service.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Proven CDL driving experience required; Class B CDL with clean 3-year MVR
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills; ability to manage spreadsheets and reports
  • Calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards
  • Ability to lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and a guest-first mindset
  • Able to lift 25–50 lbs
  • Able to push, pull, grasp, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind
  • Able to sit at a desk or stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be flexible during peak seasons; may require more than 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Interview, hire, train, and supervise transportation staff, including the Parking Attendants
  • Ensure all drivers maintain proper licensing (Class B CDL, clean 3-year MVR) and meet DOT compliance
  • Manage driver drug testing, including pre-employment and random screenings
  • Create and publish efficient department schedules in a timely manner
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and safe; oversee pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Issue and track vehicle maintenance work orders in HIPPO
  • Ensure staff are knowledgeable on routes, closures, park activities, and crowd control procedures
  • Support Group Sales team with group check-ins as needed
  • Train staff on ticket scanning, guest queuing, guest interaction, and safety protocols
  • Track and report guest transportation numbers; maintain accurate records and spreadsheets
  • Provide support for budget forecasting and maintain labor and expense controls
  • Handle coaching, counseling, and incident reports; assist with guest or employee injuries
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback within 24 hours
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the parkway and plaza areas
  • Complete performance reviews, training updates, and incident documentation as required
  • Assist with special events, promotions, and all other Guest Services tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
