About The Position
Under direction, the purpose of the position is to perform technical engineering tasks and reviews specializing in the area of traffic engineering including; traffic studies, traffic data analysis, operational improvements, operational analysis, field reviews, safety assessments, analysis of crash data, signalization plans, signing and pavement marking plans, construction/site plans, traffic control plans for road construction, closures and detours, responding to citizen's concerns regarding traffic issues, review of methodologies and traffic impact studies for developments, and participation in the development review process. The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. It is not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.
