Transportation Aide
About The Position
Transportation Aide - 9 month / 5 hour Work aboard buses transporting passengers with developmental disabilities. Limited daily hours of work during early morning and late afternoon. This position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities. In addition to the requirements listed above, the following qualifications shall be considered in evaluating an applicant for possible employment for this position: an applicant's varied work-experience; one's training and/or education; and, one's adaptability to work with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to be trained and certified in Medication Administration Category 1 as authorized by Ohio Department Of Developmental Disabilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity & contributing to an inclusive working environment.
- Ability to engage others with understanding & empathy.
