About The Position

Trinity Place is seeking a compassionate and dependable Transportation Aide to support our residents by ensuring safe and timely transportation for medical needs. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in fostering the well-being of our community.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours calls
Pay: To be discussed during the interview

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email).
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurability and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist in transferring individuals safely.
• Ambulatory throughout the facility and able to operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical appointments outside the facility with staff and providers.
• Transport residents safely and comfortably to medical services.
• Deliver lab samples and courier items as needed between facilities.
• Maintain vehicle logs, report malfunctions, and ensure readiness for use.
• Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, delivering mail, and greeting visitors.
• Submit billing charges and mileage information to Accounts Receivable.
• Uphold LSC's mission, vision, and values in daily interactions.
