About The Position
We are seeking a Transportation Aide - CNA to join our team. The Van Driver will be responsible for transporting individuals, including the elderly and people with developmental disabilities, to and from designated locations. The Van Driver must be able to pass drug screen(s) at any time. Responsibilities: Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fueled Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Maintain accurate records of trips and passenger details Work as a CNA when Transportation is not scheduled. Must be flexible with assignments. Qualifications
Requirements
- Valid Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Texas Driver's License with a responsible driving record
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of patient care and caregiving practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- Understanding of critical care situations
- Proficiency in handling Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
