This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. It requires strict attention to order accuracy for both loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role involves using an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads with a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack, ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. Employees must follow warehouse instructions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and may be required to work in various weather conditions. Shift duration is dependent on workload and can vary daily. Specific duties include moving full pallets and removing returned pallets/flats for transport truck loading, unloading raw materials, selecting and loading designated products onto pallets for bulk truck loading while maintaining pallet stability through stacking and shrink-wrapping, and customizing product loading for route trucks based on salesperson orders, including unloading returned items.
