Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing Preferred.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program Required.
• Minimum 3-year experience critical care Required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with pediatric patients Preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record Required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pediatric patients Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates professional nursing and individualized, family centered care to pediatric patients in the critical care transport environment.
• Conducts individualized age-specific patient/family assessments according to defined unit scope and nursing practice standards.
• Develops individualized patient/family plan of care using clinical practice guidelines to meet identified needs.
• Implements and evaluates nursing actions in accordance with the individualized patient/family plan of care and patient condition/needs.
• Documentation reflects accurate assessment/evaluation, modification, and patients’ response to therapy, changes in condition, and therapeutic interventions/procedures.
• Demonstrates responsiveness to the organizational functions of the transport process.
