Transport Services Associate

About The Position
Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department to provide the following services: transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas, STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharge patients to designated areas, transport of outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and other delivery services utilizing the Transport Tracking System
Requirements
- High School diploma preferred.
- No previous work experience required.
- Work requires the ability to read and understand written instruction.
- CPR certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.
