About The Position

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) is looking for a skilled and motivated Transport Refrigeration Unit Installer to join our team in a dedicated onsite role in Janesville, WI. In this position, you will work directly at a customer's production facility, installing transport refrigeration and heating systems on commercial vehicles as they move through the assembly process. This is a hands-on opportunity in a high-volume production environment where your work directly supports the cold chain industry. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
Basic tool set (standard/metric hand and air tools)
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to obtain forklift operation certification
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude

Responsibilities

Install self-powered and vehicle-powered transport refrigeration units on commercial vehicles at a customer production facility
Install Espar heating systems and components
Mount, wire, and commission refrigeration and heating equipment to manufacturer specifications
Perform quality checks to ensure all systems are installed correctly and ready for service
Coordinate with facility production staff to maintain installation pace and workflow
Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand and power tools safely
Keep your workspace organized and follow all site safety protocols
Occasionally travel for training or support at other TRI locations
Take on additional duties as needed
