About The Position

The Transport Driver plays a key role within the distribution system for Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company ensuring product and equipment are delivered safely and efficiently to company distribution centers. Major Responsibilities: Follow most efficient route, safely drive and deliver/pick-up product and equipment to/from designated location(s). Follow all DOT laws and company policies and standards. Conduct daily vehicle inspection and paperwork. May occasionally assist with deliveries to customer locations and setting out and/or rotating new product and adjusting point-of-sale displays. Ensure professional contact with customers and maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times in order to favorably represent the company and iconic Coca-Cola brand image. Follow all safety regulations. Maintain clean and orderly work area at customer site to ensure safety for themselves and customers. Ethical conduct is expected at all times. Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No greater than 2 moving violations, and no OWIs in the last five years.
• Class A CDL with air brakes is required.
• Ability to read transportation map.
• Good customer service communication skills, and must provide professional contact and appearance with customers which upholds Atlantic Bottlings brand image.
• Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.
• Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.

Nice To Haves

• Some light computer experience is helpful.
