We are looking for a skilled Transport Mechanic to join our team and help maintain the safety and reliability of our fleet and equipment. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is a team player, with a strong willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team’s success.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport mechanics or a related field.
General knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
A dedicated team player who contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Class A Commercial Driver License

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair basic engine components.
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues.
Change tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers.
Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
Operate forklift and drive truck and trailer when necessary.
Follow good housekeeping standards in all areas of work.
Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
Make recommendations for process system improvements.
Adhere to industrial safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
Complete all other tasks as assigned.
