The Transport Engineer will support large-scale wireless network build initiatives, including spectrum upgrades, equipment swaps, and new site deployments. While a strong technical foundation is important, this role also involves substantial administrative and coordination responsibilities. Key tasks include managing workflow processes, extracting and evaluating data, processing ASRs, and coordinating with telecom vendors. The position also requires creating IP/port assignments, building network pathways within management systems, and collaborating with internal and external teams through project completion. This role sits within the transport engineering organization but frequently overlaps with equipment engineering functions. Responsibilities include reviewing RFDS documents, cross-referencing work orders, and managing updates through workflow tools that incorporate photos and descriptions. The workload is high-volume and detail-oriented.
