About The Position

The Transportation Driver hauls products from the manufacturing plant to distribution centers (and also can be asked to haul products from distribution center to other distribution centers.)

Requirements

Must have a Class A Interstate commercial driver’s license
Minimum Age: 21 per Federal D.O.T. regulations
Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen
Experience: Must have a minimum of two years transportation experience and a good driving record.
Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
Ability to work well with numbers.
Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
Coachable and willing to learn.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
Effective time management skills to achieve results through prioritizing demands.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills and effective decision-making skills.
Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Drive tractor-trailer over established route to deliver, unload and account for products of the dairy industry to customer's place of business and distribution points.
Traveling daily from Fargo, ND to Woodbury, MN and back.
Must follow all Department of Transportation regulations.
Records transactions and prepare paperwork.
Maintains proper logs and other information as required by the Company and D.O.T.
Listen to and resolve service complaints.
Load and unload products at destination and carry merchandise
Collect or pick up empty containers or reject or unsold merchandise
