Fort lauderdale Behavioral Health is an 182-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for youth, adults and seniors. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Progressive professionals in the fields of psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education and activity therapy provide our comprehensive services. www.ftlauderdalebehavioral.com Transport Driver - Full-time - Days and hours: Monday - Friday (Mon, Wed, Friday 6a-4:30pm and Tues & Thurs 10a-3pm). The Transportation/Van driver position provides transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. Non-mechanical upkeep of van, painting and cleaning of patient rooms, offices, public areas and other assigned duties. Requirements

  • Education: High school graduate, or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Maintains a valid, class specific driver’s license applicable to the transportation of patients.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be 21 years or older and have a good driving record as obtained from the Department of Public Safety.
  • Must complete CPR certification as well as a the TEAM Training class with successful use of seclusion and restraint procedures within 90 days of employment.
  • May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
