LifeShare is seeking a dedicated Organ Transport Driver to join our team and play a vital role in our mission to save and enhance lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. This is not a traditional truck driving role. This is a highly responsible, customer-focused position where professionalism, reliability, and clear communication are essential. You will work closely with hospitals, clinical teams, and internal staff, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of life-saving organs, blood, tissue samples, equipment, and personnel.

Requirements

  • You hold a high school diploma
  • You are at least 25 years old
  • You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • You successfully pass a pre-employment driving test and drug screening
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures with precision
  • You are professional, calm under pressure, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are committed to working nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a mission-driven team

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a professional liaison while transporting organs, tissue, medical equipment, and internal personnel between hospitals and LifeShare locations
  • Begin your shift from our Oklahoma City, Tulsa, or CIC location using a company vehicle
  • Deliver sensitive materials with extreme care, attention to time constraints, and compliance with all regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accurate transport logs, route documentation, and equipment checklists
  • Conduct routine safety inspections on vehicles before and after each shift
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, courtesy, and composure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and hospital teams, responding to time-sensitive transport needs
  • Participate in required training, including biohazard and bloodborne pathogen safety
  • Work 12-hour overnight shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), 3–4 nights per week, including a rotating weekend and holiday schedule
  • Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
