About The Position

The Transport Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, raw materials, and other essential items to and from various branches and production facilities. This role adheres to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance with DOT Hours of Service guidelines. The position is crucial for maintaining logistical operations and meeting stringent delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Class A commercial driver's license with Haz-Mat and doubles endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable Over the Road, Bulk Rig driving experience (Tractor, Trailer, or Transport Vehicle).
• Excellent driving record with a review of a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to work set shift times and pass DOT physical requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have an excellent safety record.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of full goods or raw materials to customers, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities according to FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Conduct daily pre and post-trip safety inspections on company assets and submit orders for any needed repairs.
• Ensure all loads are secure before leaving any facility and are safe for transit.
• Ensure daily compliance with Electronic Logging Device (ELD) processes regarding DOT Hours of Service.
• Complete all related safety activities and ensure the proper use of all company assets during transit, including hooking and unhooking trailers.
