About The Position

The Back Transport Driver (Tractor Trailer) - CDL A Part Time position involves driving a tractor/trailer truck to make local regional deliveries (up to 275 mile radius) of predominantly finished products or raw materials/supplies to company distribution and manufacturing centers. The driver is responsible for obtaining proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups, inspecting the vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip, and maintaining a DOT driver's log while adhering to all DOT regulations. This position requires working with tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear, as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. This is no touch freight work, and the driver will be home daily. The role is part-time, with flexible hours based on specific availability, ideally requiring 0 to 29 hours on a weekly basis, and may require working weekends.

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test
• Valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
• Follow DOT Regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

• Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL Class A license
• Hauling consumer products and perishable consumer goods
