About The Position

The Transport Driver Tally is responsible for ensuring all products transferred between locations are properly transported, received, and offloaded. This role involves safely transporting products between warehouse locations, or between other suppliers or distributors, operating various equipment such as lift trucks and large transport trailers. Key duties include conducting daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting any vehicle issues immediately. The driver will also operate pallet jacks or forklifts, handle call-ins, load empties and dunnage, and may be required to work overtime. Adherence to all safety procedures, local laws regarding weight and speed limits, and company policies is mandatory, including reporting any prescription drug use or driving issues to HR.

Requirements

Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the transportation and storing of malt beverages
Class A CDL
Current DOT Physical Card
Maintain a safe driving record
Report any driving related issues to HR immediately
Adhere to all company policies
Ability to use Smart Phones, I Pads, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. packaged beer and 160lb. kegs
Frequent driving and siting for long periods of time
Able to pass drug and background check
Attend all staff meetings as scheduled
High School Diploma or GED
2 years minimum of over the road driving experience

Responsibilities

Safely transport product between the warehouse locations, or between other suppliers or distributors
Operate a lift truck or large transport trailer
Conduct all maintenance and safety checks before leaving the warehouse
Ensure vehicle Inspection Report is always to be filled out and turned in daily
Keep fuel tanks kept over half full
Maintain cab cleanliness
Report all vehicle issues to mechanic on duty or warehouse shift supervisor immediately
Operate a pallet jack or forklift
Run out call-ins and add- when necessary
Load back empties and dunnage for return when necessary
Work overtime when necessary
Advise and make recommendations to the Warehouse Manager regarding the maintenance of company equipment
Ensure that all safety procedures are followed while performing your job duties each day, including safe driving practices
Be aware of local laws regarding weight limits and speed limit
Report any prescription drug use to HR prior to shift
No alcohol use prior to shift
Ensure that the proper arrangements are made for any equipment needing maintenance
Ensure that all products entering or leaving the warehouse are recorded
Report any driving issues or tickets to supervisor immediately
Adherence to all company policies
