About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver with a class A CDL to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This is a critical role in our organization, as you will be the face of our company to our customers. Requirements

Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
Strong knowledge of manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Ability to handle freight in a safe and efficient manner
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work varying schedules possibly including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Safely operate a variety of vehicles including trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers
Load and unload goods using lifts
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Communicate with Supervisors regarding any delays or issues
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
