About The Position
The Transport Aid is responsible for transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers as requested from various areas of the hospital and safely get them to their ordered location.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CPR/BLS required upon hire or obtained within the 30 days of hire.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to hospital policies
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients in a compassionate and respectful manner
- This is a safety sensitive position.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting a plus.
