About The Position
UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Transplant Procurement Specialist to support our Organ Acquisition department! This position consists of primarily of 12 hour shifts 3 days on, 3 days off rotating between days and nights. The person in this role will coordinate and communicate all aspects of import organ recovery and actively provide hospital/transplant center development and professional programs. Screen and evaluate potential organs for transplantation in conjunction with the transplant surgeon. Provide organ recovery and coordination services to all transplant disciplines.
