Organization: Transplant Clinical Services Job Summary: Our Transplant Center Mission is to provide end-stage organ failure patients with the opportunity to live extraordinary lives through exceptional, multidisciplinary care. This position offers day-to-day operational leadership for the Liver and Kidney Transplant Center, as well as our Transplant Outreach Clinics. Our services include hepatology, liver transplant, and kidney transplant care, with clinics located in Nashville, Clarksville, Lebanon, Franklin, Madison, Alabama, and Newburgh, Indiana. Additionally, we support lung transplant services in Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Madison, Alabama, as well as heart transplant services in Madison, Alabama, and Newburgh, Indiana. The clinical teams reporting to this role include medical assistants, LPNs, RNs, and transplant nurse coordinators. The Manager Transplant has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated solid organ transplant-specific clinical area(s). Their responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies for the PCC, Hospitals and Vanderbilt Clinic. Prepares annual operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data. Work as a liaison with physician and Transplant Center leadership to promote a collaborative work environment, embodying the multidisciplinary structure of the Transplant Center. Participates in and contributes to system quality initiatives, research, development of care protocols and evidence-based activities that improve patient care and outcomes, that also ensure alignment with up-to-date transplant and organ-specific national guidance. Actively engages in activities to promote the field of organ donation and organ transplantation.
