About The Position

The coordinator for transplant Information Technologies (IT) is a Registered Nurse with clinical knowledge/expertise in the field of organ transplantation and with expertise in the use of databases and information systems, including electronic medical records (EMR). Coordinator will work closely with clinical and IT staff to further enhance their use of technology. This position will work within the Renal Transplant unit at Sentara Norfolk General

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in related Field
  • CCTC Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator - Certifications - American Board for Transplant Certification (ABCT)
  • Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
  • 3 years related experience
