Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Fellowship trained Gastroenterologist with Hepatology interest/experience to join Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX. This position is within a tertiary referral center that includes nine fellows, 16 GI faculty, 10 Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), a GI Dietician, GI Social Worker, GI Pharmacist, and four dedicated Colorectal Surgeons. The role focuses on managing a growing population of pre and post liver transplant patients as well as non-transplant liver patients. There is an opportunity to partner with the Department Chair and Hepatology Director at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas to build a satellite liver transplant program. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with teaching and working with fellows and APPs. The schedule offers a good mix of clinic and procedures, with the option for a 100% hepatology clinic practice if desired. Opportunities for academic appointment with Baylor College of Medicine, teaching, leadership, and career advancement are available.
