About The Position

The Transplant Coordinator coordinates the care of patients who are undergoing solid organ transplant on an inpatient and outpatient basis. On call for patient issues and donor coordination as scheduled. Functions as a resource for patients and staff about the transplantation process. Maintains communication with referring physician's pre and post-transplant. Is an active member of the multidisciplinary Transplant Team.

Requirements

• 2+ years inpatient or outpatient pediatric experience required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA RN license, American Heart Association BLS and PALS required.

Nice To Haves

• Solid organ Transplant experience preferred.
• Transplant experience (inpatient or outpatient) preferred.
