About The Position

The Transplant Assistant Supervisor provides leadership for transplant assistant staff ensuring quality and integrity of care delivered. Working supervisor able to execute the job description of the transplant assistant. Working supervisor with leadership focus on facilitation of care across the continuum for transplant patients care.

Requirements

• College or technical training, preferred
• 5 years Medical office experience required
• 5 years Transplant experience preferred
• Basic to advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organization and time management skills to ensure patient flow

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision and direction for staff
• Ensure compliance
• Plan and coordinate educational needs to enhance clinical performance
• Responsible for fiscal and human resource allocation based upon departmental guidelines
• Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, orientation, development and on-going evaluation/retention of transplant assistants
• Promote a supportive environment that encourages teamwork
