About The Position
ACRT is currently seeking energetic experienced professionals who enjoy working outdoors. Our Transmission Utility Arborist position is ideal for entry level and seasoned professionals with an educational background in rangeland management, forestry, horticulture, natural resources, environmental studies, conservation or related disciplines and with experience in these fields and line of work. This position would ideally be located in Sweetwater, TX and adjacent areas and will be required to travel to other areas when necessary. Our Arborists perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of vegetation and brush along utility lines; Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations; Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned clearance crews; Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; Serve as a liaison between clients, work crews, and client customers; Perform real time crew checks; Get estimates, build schedules and set up work for contractors.
