About The Position

The Transmission Sub Assembly position involves inspecting pumps for damage, removing bushings using a press, sanding burrs if needed, and measuring gear clearance with a feeler gauge. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to use various handheld tools.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours)
• Ability to use handheld tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, and torque wrench

Responsibilities

• Inspect pump for damage
• Remove bushing utilizing a press
• Sand burrs if needed
• Measure gear clearance using a feeler gauge
