The position assists Engineers by performing technical work consisting of compiling, computing, evaluating, and reporting engineering information and projects. Specific tasks will vary by department and division.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required for the senior level.
  • College level coursework (100+) related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred.

  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Copperleaf experience preferred.
  • Experience drafting diagrams preferred.
  • Smallworld experience preferred.
  • MicroStation experience preferred.
  • Capital Planning background.
  • Creating and Submitting Service Requests.
  • Technical Writing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports engineering staff in the development of innovative programs and the modification of existing ones.
  • Writes, evaluates, and maintains Power BI Dashboards for various users.
  • Assists engineers in analyzing, preparing, and editing system planning studies, reports, and presentations.
  • Serves as the lead on multiple projects, coordinating efforts with other SRP teams to achieve integrated execution.
  • Drafts and publishes substation diagrams and designs for company-wide use.
  • Collaborates with outside agencies, such as utilities, government agencies, developers, engineers, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Creates and submits Copperleaf Investments and Service Requests for various projects.
  • Provides technical assistance on Capital Planning projects as required by supervision.
  • Provides engineering support and technical expertise to other departments.
