About The Position

Wilson Construction Company (Wilson) has an immediate opening in our Canby, OR office for an experienced, mid to upper level, Transmission Project Manager with a positive, results-oriented attitude and the willingness to provide valuable input to our project teams. Successful candidates should have relevant experience in construction management for large-scale electrical utility construction projects. Our ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter.

This Project Manager’s responsibilities include working closely with project teams to produce written documentation for large, fast-paced electrical utility transmission construction projects. Duties will include developing, planning, coordinating, financial control, and fulfilling technical requirements related to assigned proposals and projects.

Requirements

• Five years of office management, field management or technical experience related to electrical utility construction
• Five years of experience as a project manager on electrical utility projects
• Background in project scheduling and work plan development
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in MS Office. Microsoft Project and Primavera skills are beneficial
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work outside and travel as required
• This position will be based in Canby, Oregon. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance from the office or be willing to relocate
