Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with FAD Tools, L‑Pile, and other foundation design software.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Experience with voltage classes above 345 kV, project management responsibilities, or leading client pursuits.
  • Comprehensive experience with all aspects of line design, including structure analysis, cost estimating, optimization, specifications, drawings, and development of engineering documentation for NESC‑covered installations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and reinforce company policies and best practices.
  • Support section operations, including staff development, morale, quality control, and overall performance.
  • Serve as a technical leader on select projects, contributing to project production and performance.
  • Ensure all work is effectively planned, organized, managed, and executed through workplan development and utilization monitoring.
  • Assist with administrative oversight of section staff and technical service functions, coordinating with other internal teams.
  • Participate in marketing planning, proposal development, and client management activities.
  • Engage directly with clients to support marketing efforts, project execution, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel.
  • Collaborate with national leadership and marketing personnel on business development initiatives and workshare efforts.
  • Conduct analyses to develop design options, perform modeling and/or calculations, and prepare design sketches and concept drawings.
  • Work with Engineers, Designers and CAD Technicians to develop construction drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes and project specifications and requirements.
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
