About The Position

In this summer student role, you will work as part of the EPRI Transmission and Distribution asset team. This role will give you an opportunity to contribute to industry-leading research into electric T&D systems. These teams focus on helping worldwide utilities create the next generation power grid to be reliable, resilient, sustainable, and cost effective for society. The role will include independent work and work alongside industry leaders. Over the course of a summer, this will give you exposure to: Hands-on laboratory work, Data analytics, AI applications, Practical application of the engineering, Problem solving skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Interest in transmission and distribution, power systems, energy systems, or high voltage engineering.
• Exposure to laboratory testing through classes or internships.

Responsibilities
