About The Position
As a Transload Loader, you will safely transfer hazardous and non-hazardous products between railroad tank cars and tanker trucks, ensuring compliance with EPA, FRA, OSHA regulations, and company standards. This hands-on role involves working in an outdoor environment, operating equipment, performing product preparation, and conducting inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Motivated and safety-conscious
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical strength and stamina, including lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in full-body hazmat suits when required
Responsibilities
- Transferring bulk products while operating mechanical equipment
- Performing inspections, including climbing ladders to heights of up to 20 feet
- Preparing products for transfer by heating, sparging, or sampling
- Ensuring all safety and compliance protocols are followed, including maintaining transfer logs and manifests
- Preventive maintenance of equipment
